It does not seem like ennis really wants him to come to nyc...I wonder why? He is hiding something, I think.

Josh has been and continues to be a great friend to jack. He is not letting jack back out if their friendship and even giving him good advice for him and ennis.

Ennis' answer should tell Jack everything . If he really wanted to see him he would have been more enthusiastic.
But it's good Jack will go anyway-perhaps this will cleear things up, one way or the other
I know Ennis has to deal with his own demons but I'm angry with him about how he treats Jack in such a shitty way

josh is such a great friend to jack. i almost wish jack were with him instead of ennis. ennis is so fucked up, it's terrible for jack. and ennis was so excited about jack visiting. not. i'm not looking forward to this visit. i bet it's going to be painful.
