So much about this story impresses me but today I'd just like to say how consistent you are with these two. I don't know how long you've been writing them -maybe they're simply under your skin?- but you don't miss a beat.
I am sad this story is coming to an end. Not only because of what it is and how excited I am to see updates. But also because it'll probably be the last Jack/Ennis story I shall read ( unless Jenna returns!) and that will be the end of an era.
So thank you. Again.

And I thank you. That is truly a compliment of the highest order. I'm glad you've enjoyed this Jack and Ennis so. I'm sad to see it come to an end too. Even though the story is written completely, I feel it won't actually be finished until I've given it to everyone who has read along all this time.

And I agree - it feels like the end of an era. When I go to update at Brokeback Slash and the last three entries are all mine, I wonder, "Am I the only one here?"

Anyway, this story of course will post to the end. I have some designs in my head about finishing the story I started writing jointly with my very stubborn wife, who no longer writes, but we'll see about that.

Again, thank you for taking the time to share such kind thoughts on the writing of this story.

I'm so glad you're finishing this story. I love it! I love how Ennis has matured. High time!

And it's great to see some life on this board for a change. I mean, Can't Stand It left their 200+ episodic wonder with Bobby just getting over puking in the bathroom. Not a good place to stop!!! lol

I got worried reading your A/N that the chapter would end in a cliffhanger of the unhappy/traumatic variety, so I'm relieved (so far *g*) things seem to be going in a good direction
