Once again, the scrapbook page contains almost everything I wanted to say about the week. I enjoyed myself at the potluck and meant to look up info on Fems for Dems but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm not a registered anything, but with the way the nation is heading I think I should change that.
I finished one book, Cutie Pies and Deadly Lies, the first book in the Murder in the Mix series, and was very happy when it was over. I will not be following that series. I next selected Murder at Hartigan House, billed as a 1920 Cozy Mystery. I think this is the second book in a large series, but as I don't have money to spend on books, I will be reading them only when they come up on eReaderIQ as free books or our library starts carrying them. So far, I have had zero luck when trying to find the books appearing on eReaderIQ at my library, but hope burns eternal.
Our first Christmas Card arrived earlier, perhaps this week, perhaps last. I opened it in the middle of the night as I was pretty sure it contained an invitation to my favorite Christmas party and I wanted to know if it conflicted with the TubaChristmas event in Howell. It does not, which means that there's a conflict with the other Christmas party to which we've been invited.
No projects were finished this week. I thought I'd have a hat done by today as I'd brought it with me to the potluck (and actually worked on it there), but I'm still quite a few rows from the end.
The wonderful mbumby lent us her car, so I'm no longer worried about getting a ticket for Jebra's driving around with only one headlight. The van goes into the shop on December 2nd.
There's probably more to blather about, but none of it is coming to mind. I hope everyone has a good week.
