Went downtown to eat last night and got free parking in the garage, which meant we did not have to drive around for 20 minutes trying to find on street parking. This month the city has three hours of free garage parking on Thursdays and Fridays. In City Market they had a winter open house of sorts. We went down to Gainesville Friday. On Saturday we went to the UF vs E Kentucky game with Gregory. Despite the rain at the start of the event, it was a great game. Gators won 52 to 3. We had a parade of visitors last weekend. Mark stayed with us Saturday night. He had been "working" at the newly reopened Ford Plantation golf course. He left Sunday morning after breakfast and my mom and grandmother arrived a few hours later.

Lindsey’s high school varsity football team won their 3rd game by one point. This was their first win - ever. They played another school that was also playing their first year of varsity football. On Friday, we went to see the first ever varsity football game for Islands High School. Compared to the other team, we had triple the amount of football players on the sidelines. We went out to dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant tonight. Just after our food came their was a commotion by the entrance. We were seated at the front of the restaurant.
