Well you know I agree about The One big time.

And yes I'm old enough to undertand about The 70's Sci Fi. Happy days....Tom Baker in the Tarsis with his scarf and jelly babies,,,,,,,love it still.

Hey, I was a wee child when the original Star Trek came out and was a faithful viewer. I love watching it in re-runs (Captain Kirk and all his space babe snogging, hee!) and remember wondering why they didn't have space ship seat belts! My hubby still thinks Tom Baker is the only "real" Dr. Who. Nothing wrong with some outer space fun, darling.

...and finally, I have found a friend who is as obsessed with makeup as I am. I'm sure you're gorgeous without, but my goodness, I can't imagine the thousands of dollars I have spent on makeup in the hopes it would make me look better than I do, without actually looking as if I'm wearing any. Oh, I am a makeup junkie, too. I wrote a column about it once for our paper. My mom was an Avon lady for a while when I was a child, and I absolutely adored those tiny lipstick tubes just perfect for little fingers. Nowadays I mix the drugstore brands (which are continuing to improve in quality, I find) with an occasional high-end purchase . . . southern girls like me have to "put our faces on!"

Ooh, ooh, mee too!

I like makeup, but my preferred style is more like what I'm wearing in my icon. Did a lot of that in uni.

Day-to-day, I'm lucky if I remember to brush a bit of paint & powder on.
