Coffee Question

Friends,
    Do any of you use a French press to make coffee?  If so, what is the best way to clean out the glass carafe each time you use it?   I've found that it's somewhat of a pain to try and get out all of the grounds/sludge at the bottom.  Thanks!

well, i just pour them into the drain and turn on the disposal :)

Really? You don't know how tempted I've been to do this very thing, but I had this voice in my head telling me never to dump coffee grounds down the disposal! So, you think this is safe?

well, i guess so. i've done it for many years now. i mean, doesn't the disposal dispose of things like that?
