I absolutely thought Morrissey was completely irrelivant and a relic until he released You are the Quarry a couple years ago and I was like, "Holy crap, Morrissey made a good album again."

I am actually interested to hear this new one.

I like She & Him a lot but am not the biggest fan of M Ward's solo stuff. It's kind of so what to me. it doesn't move me. Lily Allen I also don't really ever listen to.

man, how lame is this response?

Not lame at all. I'm just glad my words are being heard. I'm working on trying to spread the word a little, but to my surprise, most of the music communties on here have like no action, which is a bit disappointing.

And it's okay. I really want to hear Morrissey's new album. I love Lily Allen, I just do and want apologize, :) and I got into M. Ward a few years ago from one of my Aunts. I like breezy music, and he always delivers.

So thank you for commenting!!! hehe.

Just an FYI, this didn't appear on my friends page for whatever reason. Not sure why.

I really like the "choice tracks" thingy you put at the bottom of each little blip. That's a great idea. I went to YouTube and listened to "F*** You" and "Never Had Nobody Like You ( ... )

YAY!!!

I'm so glad you liked it. The choice tracks feature was kinda inspired because I know it might be overwhelming to choose a song from an album, especially if you're not familiar with the artist.

And I have a few of Fountains of Wayne songs, including "Stacey's Mom". Gotta love the MILF anthem. hehe.

I'm trying to spread the word about this little blog, so if you know anyone on LJ that would be interested in this, please tell them!!! Kthanx. :D

Welcome Interstate Managers was good but I really like Utopia Parkway best. You may have never heard it though because it came out when you were like 3.

I have Utopia Highway, but only because my bf gave it to me. lol.

He's closer to your age, 26, so he's more aware of older bands of that genre. He was the introduced me to the wonder that is Lo-Fi. :D

I adore M. Ward. Very cool music right there, just light and puts me in a really dreamy mood.

I have yet to listen to the full Lily Allen album, but from what I've heard of it, I really like. I, too, love her wit and her style. She just makes me happy.

I admit, I've never actually enjoyed listening to Morrissey. There's just something about it, I can't even explain it... just something fundamental that I do not like.

I am super excited for more of these posts. 2009 is already turning out to be great year, in terms of music being released. And I have heard of so many more releases later this year!

YAY! I was hoping you'd leave a comment. :D

I'm seriously considering to make a community about this. It's really fun and I think it'll be better than just having it here on my LJ. Thoughts?

And the Lily album is awesome. I think you'll love it.

And I'm presently listening to Morrissey. It's pretty good. But I've always liked him, takes me back to Sunday morning, listening to y Dad on the radio. Good times. :)

An entire community dedicated to you and your music picks sounds awesome! Like I'm totally into that.

This weekend I'm going to purchase the Lily Allen album!! I'm hoping that I will like it as much as I hope I do!

I'm sure you'll love it! It's definitely different than Alright, Still, but it's a good different. :D

I keep meaning to get Lily Allen's new one, but, alas, I'm lazy. Thanks for the reassurance that it's a good one though!
