OK, I am going to quote a movie here, lame I know, but it's just the one definition that I have found put into words that says it all for me. "Love is like oxygen. Love is a many splendid thing. Love lifts us up where we belong. All you need is love."
Okay so I'm stealing this from Tuesdays with Morrie, but it is the best definition I have heard for love: "Love is when you are as concerned for someone else's situation as you are about your own."
