Finale Time
WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!! I shall be thinking about this all Summer or all day tomorrow until the world ends and I can think no more.
At one point when I was lying in bed and numerous Sams appeared on my screen I legit thought I was perhaps dreaming this...but no IT WAS REAL!!!! AMAZING WAS THE SAMCEPTION BUT WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO HIM NOW?
I have no idea how to feel, guys I have SO many feelings, I think I enjoyed that a lot.I LOVED Samception but I wish we'd had a bit more Sam/Dean for a finale that was supposedly all about their unity, there wasn't a whole lot of them together really. Once again WAY too much Castiel but this is the most interesting i've ever found him. However I wanted him evil not God, and also how DARE he kill Balthazar! I MUCH preferred him than Castiel AND he was totally brilliant with Sam this episode. I could have shipped that.
The line that was the worst for me was the line of Dean's 'i've lost lisa and ben, now i've lost Sam, don't let me lose you too...' um for the love of God Dean stop being such a quitter you had not lost Sam, you never give up on him and also this is the guy who just RIPPED YOUR BROTHER'S WALL DOWN. Lest we forget.
GUYS I THINK I KIND OF LOVED THAT, IT MADE ME FEEL A LOT OF FEELINGS...
As my girl balefully says at her lj SAM THREW HIMSELF INTO ETERNAL TORMENT JUST SO HE COULD COME BACK AND SAVE DEAN FROM CASTIEL. LIKE. LIKE. LIKE. THAT IS JUST. EVERYTHING. I HAVE EVER WANTED. IN MY LIFE. EVER. - SHE SPEAKS THE FREAKING TRUTH, THAT SELF SACRIFICIAL LOVING LITTLE BROTHER HERO!!!!!
I actually loved it as a finale, it had a lot of questions for us to drive ourselves crazy with over the Summer, i think Castiel as god is kind of ridiculous, alright a LOT ridiculous but i prefer that than him just mooning around them being at their beck and call and I was so scared they'd make him human and ride around in the impala so this works if only to prevent that. I want to know what the HELL Sam knows now he has his memories of hell and also how the heck he's a walking, talking functional human after that. Oh SO many questions, SO SO many. Is he ok? Is he messed up royally?
For a moment there when I thought he'd killed Cas I was like squeeing with joy. God Damn it. Still the Sam hate would have been off the charts for that shit so i'm glad he didn't.
Guys, guys, guys, it has us all talking which negative or positive is better than being bored, i feel my flist will be divided tonight.
Oh Jared Padalecki you playing 5 different versions of Sam was the greatest thing ever, that needs to be on your show reel, magnificent and it was so fun to see Soulless Sam again, I missed that dude, and ultimate emo Sam. Samception as everyone was calling it on twitter. He was magnificent. And SO versatile he literally showed every side of Sam bar prankster Sam who probably wouldn't have fit with the overall tone and topless Sam who is always, always welcome but didn't want to objectify himself and lower the overall tone.
I both like that Dean had Lisa's memory wiped and really feel weird about it. I think that ties up the story without killing her off. Though i'd have serious issues with someone wiping my memory without my consent, for what they think is the right reason or not. LOVED big brother protective Dean leaving his gun and watching Sam and wanting to murder Castiel for touching Sam. I thought Jensen did a really good job with the Lisa/Ben situation only because it's clear from interviews that 'normal' Dean is NOT in Jensen's comfort zone but he was really really good in that hospital scene.
What did you guys think? I'm guessing extreme reactions and hand wringing all summer or at least until tomorrow till the world ends hahaha.
