Anon comments disabled until further notice

I've been getting a lot of spam comments on LJ lately, so the original plan was to disable anon on LJ but leave DW open. However, one horrible faux-obtuse derailing anonymouse who does not understand a) comics or b) the internet* has forced my hand here

OMG I read that anon conversation yesterday after you pointed to it on Tumblr--and wow. I just didn't even know what to say! Sorry it's forcing you to block anons!

Funny thing is, I actually disagree with you that Babs calling Cass an idiot was necessarily terrible writing, mainly because she said it in a moment of extreme frustration and anxeity, and in a moment like that sometimes even the best of us have said something awful to someone we love. I know I've done it. I thought it was a good scene because it made me feel the tension of the moment. Anyway, that's my opinion and I didn't really feel the need to go anon to tell you that. :-)

That's why I liked that it did eventually get dealt with, under the next writer. But the fact that it took so long (and other things with Babs in that run) made it feel to me like Horrocks didn't feel like she had said something particularly awful? But obviously YMMV.
