Saw him out for a walk with his people, so he made it home. And he seemed happy with them. So chances are he was a rescued dog in the first place, but he's comfortable with his own family.

Glad to hear the doggie is safe. Most likely he was just scared by being alone and wandering unfamiliar streets.
