So they actually let us out of school early because of the heat. How amazing is that? My Spanish teacher has been there since the school opened and she says it's the second time in twenty-five years. All my friends have been really depressed this year and it has ruined the year for me. Nothing especially bad has happened. It's just that having everyone around me depressed is making me depressed. So I was just weeding and I managed to poke myself in the eye with an iris. So not only does my eye hurt from the poking, there is pollen in it, which I am allergic to. Isn't that fun? And I think I might have poison ivy. I just love picking weeds!

I got accepted to TLC!!!! I'm leaving July 3 and I'll probably be back the 27th. And then I get to leave again for the mission trip on the 30th, but whatever! I'm supposed to find a mentor that I can meet with once a month after the summer. I think I'm going to ask Becca, but I don't know if she's too busy with everything. I chopped all my hair off! Well, not all of it, but a whole lot. It's about to my chin now. I like it, but Josh was shaking me for a couple minutes because he forbade me to cut it above my shoulders.
