First, that was "nearly twice" the amount, not four times like you told me.

Second, if you read the article it says .55 is considered potentially life threatening.

I have personally interacted with someone who was actually walking and talking at a .48. According to most reports she should have been dead or in a coma. She wasn't.

Also, alcoholics can build up an amazing tolerance, as noted in the article you presented.

Again, he probably would have died if he had not been given medical attention before his BAC reached its peak. But they had probably started treating him before he was at a .915.

Oh yeah, my suitemate was at something around a .6 when they came to get her back in the day. The paramedics said she should have been dead when they got there. She was blue-gray, seizing, and not breathing though so her case isn't as good of an example...

i was just showing you the article. as i said at the time i didn't remember what his BAC was.
