Well, I just got in my order from Interpunk (speedy!). I got a new My Chem poster, but then discovered a problem: I had absolutely nowhere to put it on my walls. So I had to do some rearranging...(which proved to be just as pointless as this post considering I ended up putting the poster where I had originally thought of it going.) Looking at it now, I'm super happy because ever since I saw this one Backstreet Boys fan's room which was covered in posters and pin-ups and god knows what else, I've always wanted to totally deck out my own in some obsession.
oh, and randomly - I just noticed how perfect Gerard's voice sounds on Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. On Bullets, I notice the emotion of it the most. On TBP, the sheer madness (and on the 'ballads,' the purity). But on this album, it's just...talent. I notice how talented he really is.
But anyway anyway.
if I lie down on my bed (which is pushed up against the wall), this would be on my left
[left, below the scarface poster are group pics and on the right below the MCR one is individual advertisements - frank and bob of course - and in the center are all the covers I have so far, minus Rock Sound that I bought this week]
and this is above my headboard (which would be on the right if I hadn't cropped it out of the pic)
[besides the obvious, 4 of the index pages in mags and some miscellaneous ones]
above my bookshelf
above my mirror (obviously) - my theory for this is that whenever I wake up and do what I need to do in the mirror, I can either look up to see TBP as inspiration or to my right to see Gerard in his mirror. The James Dean pic was moved there as of today since I got the TBP poster.
on the inside of my closet door...also for inspiration when I'm looking for shoes in the morning since I usually get all frustrated and irritable while doing so.
