what a cutie he is!!! what about crystal light for yourself? have you ever tried that? i am almost sure its really low in sugar and calories. i hated water too but still tried the water cure diet, which i kinda stopped doing but i never stopped drinking the water. i just got used to it and its pretty much all i have wanted since getting pregnant.
Kate, Sam had a well visit yesterday too. We refused the shots which included the mmr. But not because I didn't want it, but because I wasn't sure about it. My ped has no kids. So hearing about you dr. and his 11 kids is super reassuring! Sam is super underweight. 60th percentile for hieght but 3rd for weight! uuhhggg! His dr is constantly trying to get me to put butter and powered milk in his food for extra calories. Its hilarious that they are such opposites. I'd rather Sam be a little chunky. At least you don't have to worry about malnutrition. :(
gosh, it seems like jacob became a man overnight! the last pictures i saw were like.. 3 month old ones. he looks like the perfect blend of evan and you, haha. i faintly remember the pictures of your little bump of a belly and it doesn't seem like that long ago. i'm kind of glad i don't have kids yet because i'd have them locked up in cages where they couldnt change or grow at all for like 10 years! :) it must be very exciting, though.
my step-dad plays the accordian. i picked it up once for fun and it's actually quite complicated, but FUN! granted i didn't know a single thing about how to play it, and compared to a piano, it was way out of my league. for some reason, i could really see you with one.. playing polkas at weddings and whatnot. my favorite was when ray would play around a bonfire. (he could play pretty songs, too, not just polkas, haha) and if it encourages you at all... he taught himself. no teacher, no dvds. he just sat in a room year after year until he figured it out. it's POSSIBLE!
Aw, I'm glad he's taking the shot-aftermath okay though. Hey, if you think of it, please pray for the Benicky. We have come down with who knows what and have been all sorts of sick in the last 24 hours. We really want to recover before we have to fly away, but it just keeps getting worse rather than better. We love you guys and hope all goes to plan and can see you soon.
