I don't believe it, I just spent over $30 on gas to fill up my Toyota Matrix XRS!!! FUCK!! I hate these ridiculous gas prices. What makes matters worse is that I can only use octane 92 for my bloody car! AHHHH! This just sucks ass. Looks like I'm going to be using public transportation more often.

we use the most expensive one offered at the stations here, 91 or sometime? whatever that is.

anyway if gas is $2.70, then i am basically paying $2.91.

right now gas is $2.99 per gallon (i've been spending $25-30 lately, but it looks like that will be rising now). it'll go higher now after the hurricane katrina b/c 1/4 of our gas comes from that area. :\

$2.99/gallon that's what I paid too. UGH! It's only gonna get worse for us over here in Hawaii... we're the only state in the US that's gonna have this stupid gas cap law. EEK!

Serious? Does it say in your manual that you HAVE to use 92?

The manual in my Scion says 87 is the minimum. Shoot, if that's all I need and it's cheaper, then I'm all for it. =P

Fuckin' $2.67 is insane up here. I read an article that in Texas, they're paying $3.10 WHATF

i miss those days when gas was 89 cents!!! that was only a couple of years ago too.. gr. i go to this cheap gas station and even that is getting more expensive by the day - it was 2.49 last time i checked and it will be rising because of katrina!

at least you have the option of taking public transportation. heh heh!

Remember back in the day when $10 would be enough to fill your car? *SIGH* I miss those days.

I loved how $5 would be enough to get around. Nowadays, 5 bucks can only get you across the street. :P
