What is it that attracts people to LJ's these days? Half of my friends list I can't comment on because they've all got some bad shit going on in their lives and a few sentences from me wouldn't make any difference anymore

You know, I was reading on all the entries I have missed, being caught up in the holidays, and it is so hard to think of what to say to people who have such serious issues. I think the fact you care enough about them to worry about what to say to make them feel better is good in itself. <3

Even if it doesn't do much. It shows you care. I hardly comment to anyone anymore and it makes me feel bad. I get too caught up in what's going on with myself that I can hardly focus on others that aren't near by.
