This is my life, filled with my flaws & imperfections. Filled with my lies & half-truths. Filled with my depressing & uplifting thoughts. It contains my past & my hopes for the future. In every word is a piece of me.
Are you looking for an active community that has valuable information, is close-knit, helpful, supportive, and fun? You’re living the military lifestyle and sometimes not all of your friends understand what you’re going through. Here at mil_wives, we understand, and we want to help! Don’t let our name fool you; we accept current, prior and veteran military members, spouses, siblings, parents, and long-term relationship holders. Feel free to come join us; we’d love to have you!
Hi! I found you through Annie (speedxracer) and thought you seemed pretty cool, so I thought I would add you and see if you wanted to add me back too :)
I like to read the pregnant community. Since my kids are now adults, I feel kind of strange joining. Because of this, I can't comment.
I just wanted to tell you that when our son was born, my husband's parents thought it was horrible that we were naming him Mark Allen Jr. after his Dad. My mother-in-law was still trying to convince us to change his name after we filled out the birth certificate!
We stuck with it. Our son had absolutely no problem with being a Jr. In fact, he is proud of it. He will be 25 in January. He adds the Jr. at the end of everything he signs his name on, even when it isn't necessary.
Jacob is a wonderful name and I'm sure he will be honored to be a Jr. :)
I wish you the very best of luck with your pregnancy, delivery and new baby boy!
Thanks dear! I appreciate it. I imagine most fathers would love to have their son named after them. But apparently our family things differently lol. He's the first boy on hubby's side that could carry on the family name, as his brother has two girls. So to us it just seemed right! They can stuff it. It's not their kid. Lol.
I'm so glad that you aren't letting their ideas sway your decision! You won't regret it. :)
I'm so ready to be a Grandma! I have a Great niece and a Great nephew that are one year old so at least I get my "baby fix" LOL
I don't like the name that my daughter has had picked out for a girl since she was in junior high school but I will never tell her. When she has a baby, it will be HER baby and her choice. :)
I have never come to a persons journal to comment before. I just enjoy reading about all the pregnant ladies and their babies. :)
Good luck with everything. I hope to see an update when you give birth to your son. ♥
