I don't read much DW fic, so I can't give much recs. But in general, anything by Wendy, Dark Aegis, Julie, Dave and Kaethel are good stories. They've all written excellent Rose/Ten stories. Have you found Teaspoon (www.whofic.com) yet? They're all on there.

Thanks! I have been to Teaspoon, but there are so many stories that it is just a bit overwhelming!

The best way to navigate it is to find a couple of authors whose work you like - eg start with writers you like from L&C - and when you've read their fic click on their favourite authors or favourite stories links, and carry on from there. Sure, you could browse the Tenth Doctor category, but not all those stories are Ten/Rose, and as you've probably already realised there's no spelling/grammar editing on the Spoon. Besides that, quality varies HUGELY. Also, WIPs can be uploaded. Stick to recs for the time being, and you'll find the good stuff by circling out from recommended author to recommended author. You can register on Teaspoon without being an author - being registered allows you to post reviews and, more important, allows you to save your own favourite fic and authors to your profile for easy re-reading.

ETA: Back to LJ, Kaethel (known as kae_nine on LJ - has fic recs on her journal - just look for the tag. Kathy Brown from L&C is also in this fandom, as kb91; she's written a small amount of fic which, of course, I recommend ;)

Some fics that have Jack in the list of characters, though, are actually Doctor/Rose/Jack, so keep that in mind. Although I recommend that ship too. *g*

WOOHOO!

I was going to invite you to join time_and_chips also. It's a Doctor/Rose comm, and though there are Nine/Rose fans there too most of what gets posted is Ten/Rose. I love both Doctors and write both. I should warn you, if you're poking around my fic - all of which is posted on www.whofic.com and about half on my LiveJournal - that I don't exclusively write Doctor/Rose; I also ship Doctor/Rose/Jack, and Doctor/Jack. I've also written some Doctor+Donna friendship fic.

isiscaughey has one of the best rec lists around, divided by pairing and Doctor. It should be linked on her LJ.

In addition to recs you've already been given, I'd recommend rosa_acicularis, goldy_dollar, humansrsuperior, orange_crushed and _thirty2flavors for Ten/Rose. And whoops! Forgot misscam, who has moved on to write in other fandoms now but her DW fic is brilliant.
