If i understand the new dixie chicks documentary correctly, it's purpose is to convince us that we should feel sorry for the dixie chicks. I have a policy against feeling sorry for millionares. if I were going to break this policy , it would be for miachel j fox, at least he is dying and did not get sick because of any fault on his part. Didn't one those bastions of virtue and intergrity-- I think it was Skinhead... er... Pillhead Limbaugh-- just say that Michael J. Fox was faking his disease so he could eat babies or something?

At any rate, your point about the famous forcing their views on their fans is a good one. How did a bunch of unlistenable pseudo-hicks become the conscience of "The Heartland?" Christ, if it takes that sort of overproduced cat stretching to make you hate Bush, then we're all in real fucking trouble...

The big question is, of course, why did you rent a documentary on the Dixie Chicks?

i did not rent it nor could i. it is still in theatres. they are however promoting it heavily and i saw a review on ebert and roeper. they liked it. And i said if miachel j fox wanted to complain he has a right to . the dixie chicks are crying and begging for your help becuase there sales are slightly off.
