Think of the coolest cool you can think of and that doesn't even come close to Johnny, slightly-soft-spoken, but doesn't back down, average build, smart, witty
Martirio's only friend, first person Martirio ever met when he came across from Juarez, only person who was his friend outside of his ESOL classes. Helped Martirio learn English, showed him everything he knows.

There's too much to tell about her, the one thing i'm sure of is that she's easily manipulated. very well-read, slightly cultured, religious(if you can call it that), witty, multi-faceted, etc.
