So I was sitting in church today, and the worship team was doing this crazy buildup, and people were starting to stand up because the music was ever building and I was just sitting there angry. Mike, my friend who I don't ever see and talk to about as much, I just wanted to tell you that this entry encouraged me. When I read the first part of the entry, I was hoping it would go the direction it did. Our hearts harden so easily, it's amazing. We can get so close to God, only to then find that our hearts have once agained turned religious and hard-lined. So in this, I would encourage you - we don't know the hearts of others, only the Lord does - keep your relationship in place with God and He'll deal with the rest. Prayer is the first step for you and for them.

We'll get to hang out plenty after all this. That's a good thought.

dang dude, i feel you man. I have definitely been in that boat. I get that way a lot when i go to RUF. And its not really the same reason as you, but i get real pissed off and i hate myself for it, and wish i could just be free to worship without caring about others in those circumstances...
