I admire, but can't bring myself emulate, the folks I know who keep up with FOX News or the right-wing blog scene. Yes, it's a failure of will to not listen fully to opposing points of view before deciding whether they're really opposing, and less idealistically, it's a good idea to know what the enemy is thinking -- but I just can't handle it. I

Being rude to Libertarians is fun because most of them don't have much of a sense of humor about it.

(Which puts them in line with just about every other political party*.)

* - I realize as a member of a joke political party that there is probably somebody out there who takes it completely seriously and yes, this is potentially mortifying.

I love you, Mrspleen! Poking fun at libertarians is one of my top 17 favorite things to do, right up there with provoking zoo animals. We'll have to do some lib-busting next time we get together.
