(no subject)
so it seems i missed my anniversary.
it's been such a tumultuous time on lj.
my first post was on 23rd July 2006. it got no replies. *grins* the second one on the same day did though.

She sat a moment, then stood up - it was a hard push up off the low berm, her own knees were not so good these days - and stood still.
"I feel stupid," she said.
She raised her arms up and outward, like wings, and looked down at her feet on the dirt.
She pushed off her sandals, pushed them aside, and was barefoot.
She stepped to the left, to the right, forward, back.
She danced up to him holding her hands forward, palms down.
He took them, and she pulled him up.
He laughed; she did not quite smile.
Swaying, she lifted her bare feet from the dirt and set them down again while he stood still, holding her hands.
They danced together that way.

i'd been commenting for a wee while.
my first commentors were cariad2 and my yaaronet.
thanks to the people who've made my time here so precious and life affirming. the rest of the stuff is kind of grist to the mill of life, yeah?

so, i'm feeling a bit reckless.
should i offer to drabble for, say... first 5 commentors? those who know me, know i don't/can't/won't drabble, but maybe i need to live a little...
so, give me some prompts and i'll give it a go.
be warned. it may well suck!
