This is the end of the story. I am so sad to say goodbye to this family. They have lived in my imagination for so long. But it feels good to get some closure. To round things up instead of leaving them dangling in the midst of a bad dream

A nice little tie up with Charlie's PoV for the ending. And the art work is gorgeous!

But the story continues to be beautiful, and to be presented beautifully, and the mixed-media ending, with the Photo Album, is such a lovely bookend to the "Scrapbook" opening that it just takes my breath away.
Beautifully, beautifully done.
Don't stop.

thanks for your support, L.
it's really not just for the sake of it, though. not at all. it's to give a sense of closure to this story. i hated them hanging out there in the middle of a bad dream. and i know what it's like to read a story that you find and then it doesn't get finished. i would prefer to read something like this if the author didn't think it was going to be completed. i can always flesh it out and post properly if i get the urge in the future.
and i might do a q&a thing with the future verse at some point.

An epilogue should be different to the rest of the story while addressing the main issue of the story. Having Charlie and the Weasley grandparents talking about the family changes the POV to a different voice but kept the emotional connection; important as this is an emotion based story. Also, the making of a family is one of the main points of the story, so it's entirely right that it is the point of the epilogue.
Nicely done.
I applaud your decision to end it as it is, rather than the other options. As you know, I'm struggling with my own story, so I understand your issues there!

Hope to see other stories as they come to you!
