As for life....
Not much going on, and yet, I'm running around like a crazy person with his head chopped off.
I SOOOOO loved Halloween.
All day long, when I shopped and dined out, people asked, "Oh, are you a vampire?" or "Are you supposed to be a Punk-Zombie?" or "Is that a Zombie-vampire costume?" and I gave them all the same answer:
"No, I'm dressed as me. Myself. It's the only day I can do this without getting arrested."
Case in point, I tried to go out as myself just yesterday and was met with foul, confused, and disapproving glares.
Oh, well.
In other news- I'm still on that 50,000 word challenge. I'm at 21,000 words, but I feel like I'm losing the story by paying more attention to the word count. So, I'm taking a break from it for a few days and will go back into it with a fresh outlook.
And in other news- the house next door is going up for sale and my neighbors are practically giving it away. So, my oldest, 1of4. said she might get it, and 2of4, said she wants it,too. With my luck, none of the girls will get it and some ghetto rat will move in and make meth. Not that I'm biased against poor people moving up in the world, just low-lifes trying to take advantage of given opportunities. There's a difference.
And speaking of low-lifes- I simply cannot believe that our governor and his plebes are publicly embarrassing the rest of us at a national level. If he and his drones want to secede from the union, I want to secede from him! Pure ridiculousness! Sure- go ahead- show off to the world how ignorant you've made Texans and plan to make them even more so. Honestly, that guy pisses me off big-time. What an insult to veterans and active military from Texas. He doesn't own the state! He didn't fight at the Alamo!
Asshole.
I texted my friend in New York to see that he and his loved ones were okay. He's fine, and his shop is still running. So I let him know if he needed anything to let us know. There's still a few rational Texans around- OMG... if Austin is smart enough to start a counter-petition to secede from Texas and the gov, that let's you know right there the end of days is fast approaching.
Well, have to go get the turkey's and throw them in my boyfriend's freezer. My nervous breakdown should just about be starting on monday. I just hope I'm still alive on friday. ;-)
If at all possible, I would make everyone a nice turkey dinner and serve up some pie for dessert.
But understand- it's not the food that matters. Whatever you do, or wherever you go-
