Flail Fest, or lack thereof, 4.5
Yeah, not much to flail about this week. We had more of Leonard desperately wanting a woman, so much so that he would agree to a second date with...I can't even remember her name, she grossed me out so much. She's a friend of Bernadette's, but nothing like her at all! She came in all sweaty from the gym, wiped her pits with her napkin, and proceeding to demonstrate the many ways that she could have castrated Leonard. REALLY LEONARD? A SECOND DATE? I want you to have some self-respect dude. I really want to cheer for you again, ok? Let's make this happen.
More Sheldon/Amy stuff this week. I suppose it was cute, and I actually liked Amy in this episode, but there weren't any great moments this week. I will say it was nice to see that she's at least making more of an effort to be involved in Sheldon's life. Also, they look cute together. They really do.
Ok, now for some good things:
1. RAJ. He continues to get more adorable every single week. The best part of the ep was towards the beginning, where he speculates about why Howard has his (Raj's) ringtone set to "Brown Eyed Girl" for when Raj calls him. Interesting. Also, this:
"How do you have a girlfriend when you can't even talk to women?"
"Two words: Deaf chick."
"What?"
"That's what she said."
Not normally one for those jokes, but I liked that one. Biggest laugh of the night, even if it was off color!
2. Sheldon naming all of the stars that are closest to our planet as he hopped down the stairs, only to turn around and climb back up to start again when he realized he messed up. Adorable. :3
3. Howard's Mom!!!! Until she made a poop joke. Actually, two poop jokes. ENOUGH with the bathroom humor, ok? Thanks.
Other than that, this felt like a filler ep. Not their worst, but not their best. Hopefully the next one gets us back on track. :)
