On the move...again

Desi and I are moving...again. We are having some issues with living in our condo (nosey neighbors, stupid property manager...stuff like that!) So we are planning on moving into a house. It really sucks since we had plans to live in the condo for another couple of years to save money but our privacy is more important than money will ever be! We

Goodluck on the house thing. Mortgages can be tricky and I think they will only look at your income because you have to have a job for 6 months before they will consider that income. The house was in Winnipeg, I'm presuming? Are you going to look outside the city at all?

We were told that it doesn't matter that Desi is on disability since he is technically still employed by a company so they should consider his income too. As for being outside the city, we would need another vehicle and the price of gas is really high to commute everyday with two separate cars.
