I thought that this was yours! I really loved this one, especially the pre-series sections about Jorah's younger days and his first marriage with House Glover.

It's always easy to guess me. ;) Thank you so much! I really loved writing that pre-canon stuff, surprisingly, though I was really nervous about virtual OCs. Ugh. His Glover wife makes me so. sad. For both of them. :(

Don't worry, I'm always easy to guess too! I love pre-canon fic, honestly. There's something almost easier about it but I always worry about mary sue-ing someone.

Yes, Lady Glover is terribly tragic.

I've never been really into writing pre-canon, but there's a really crazy amount of backstory for Jorah to play with so that's very inspiring. ITA with you about the fear of Mary Sue-ing!

It really burns me up that Lady Glover has no canonical first name. GRRM names everybody in these books. Why not her?? It's so awkward how Jorah refers to her as "a Glover of Deepwood Motte," though maybe that's the point. :/
