9th annual camping/canoe trip this August!

You are all invited on the camping/canoeing trip my brother and I organize every year. He invites his friends, I invite mine, it's basically a big party up in Standish Michigan for a weekend that we've been doing since 1998. There are usually between 40-60 people. Ummm...I'm hoping to have a partner but I don't think I can ask him yet - what should I do? I'm almost positive he'd come if I told him about it, he likes camping.

Here's what I suggest: pay for a canoe ($36 instead of just the $18) and wait a few months to invite him. I wouldn't do it now because it's just too soon. But it sounds like things are going to go in the right direction, so you'll have a spot ready for him when the time is right! Just a suggestion.

And if things don't work out, you just have to find another partner! But I'm sure that won't happen. :)
