I'm a little jealous of your good relationships with your classmates and professors. I've never had hugs from a professor. I got a handshake once, hooray. It's cool that your done, I'm sure your GPA will be awesome. I still have another year and a half to go.

I didn't really make friends until this semester. I knew a few students from when I went to HACC, but I never "connected" with anyone until recently. And the professor that hugged me is just an amazingly nice woman to begin with... that, and I've taken every class she has offered. Needless to say, we've gotten to know each other over the past couple semesters.

I'm sure your time will go fast. I always thought I'd be happier to be done with college... but now that I am, I'm starting to miss it. I feel like I've lost a part of my identity. School is what I'm good at... now I just need to find something to fill that gap. I can only hope I find a job or something to keep me from going insane before July (after which, I am SURE I'll be insane.) =)

It's a huge jump, leaving college and hitting the "real world"... which is much stupider than advertised.

I had similar sad moments about leaving college, which was a huge change from the escape from High School (which I've never once missed). Hopefully a few of those connections will carry on past the bindings of sharing a localization.

I've really only made 2 really deep friendships over the course of my college life that carried on past that time... I'm glad that it went well enough for you to be so moved.
