Medical...

Had my annual today, walked out a little dumbfounded with a surgery date of next Tuesday and lab orders for testing on both my thyroid and also for diabetes. :( I have uterine polyps and am scheduled for a uterine ablation and a d&c. Ugh.

The last 2 months have been awful. My hair has continued to fall out and now it's greasy no matter what shampoo I use or how often (i can wash it and it still stays in place when i brush it), I've packed on 25 pounds since March and losing weight has been near impossible, extreme hunger, I can't sleep and yet am exhausted all the time and some other stuff too. I can't remember my list atm.

As for the polyps - my periods have become nearly insane lasting 5-7 heavy days where I can easily soak an overnight pad and a super tampon in a few hours. Bah.

Oh, and I have a yeast infection. Definitely an adventurous dr visit, lol!

Oh no. I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. I hope that the surgery is easy as far as those things go and gives you a lot of relief. My co-worker and good friend had an ablation done and she says it was the best thing ever.

So sorry to hear of all the health issues. I'm right there with you. I need to update mine soon...

I'm your go to gal for thyroid problems!!! I've been battling my thyroid for 10 yrs. Had it removed 9 yrs ago and I've been on meds since then. The greasy hair/hair falling out/weight gain definitely sounds like a thyroid problem. My hair fell out as well. I also had a rapid heartbeat for no reason. Some days my heart would feel like it was going to beat out of my chest. I had an extreme intolerance to hot/cold. If I was hot, everyone else was freezing and vice versa. My skin changed alot as well. I began to break out more... and I'm much more sensitive to the sun. I used to NEVER wear sunscreen and could stay dark year round. I now wear spf 50 :/

If you need to talk, you have my number!! We can chat, text..whichever. I'm here if you need me :) LOve you girl.
