Stopped by the "Differentiating Yourself from the Crowd" article. Came to the conclusion that my problem is the opposite one: in order to obtain a job I need to pretend I am part of the crowd.

BTW, may I suggest small contribution to the subject? I think there is nice example of (unsuccessful) PB attempt in "Seinfeld". It's when George ordered T-bone steak because he wanted to be called "T-bone" by his boss.
