all of a sudden, i am the person i always wanted to be. all due to employing just a couple simple acts of subtraction.

You deserve this and you deserve to be happy.
I would go into the whole you-dont-need-HIM-to-
be-happy-and-you-shouldnt-waste-your-time-waiting
but I know how much you care about him and if you
think he's worth it then chances are he is. I hope
