The weeks preceding her passing were filled with jokes and laughter.  You would be surprised at how much joy can be in the home of someone who is dying.  When life has a limit, people try to fill each day with happiness as if to fend off the impending event

Thank you so much, it was a difficult one to write, I even started doing something else, but this was all I could think of when I read that prompt.

Its painfully hard, and that someone can be different for so many people.

Wow! That was so very beautifully written. Thank you for sharing such a personal and emotional piece with us. It is SO important though that people know that others feel similar. Glad you're doing better and have taken your time to grieve.

Thank you :) thats exactly what I was trying to get across, so many people who never know depression can be very dismissive, so wanted to set the tone right. IT took a while and I will always grieve for her, but taking the time to feel was so important
