I got my eleven year old son’s latest school report this week.  I had barely started reading before I was smiling.  That great big smile you get when you feel like you are going to burst

It is very much both of those. I've experienced so many highs and lows since having him but each of the highs are the peaks I wouldn't swap

My son's on the spectrum as well; I more or less knew by the time he was 18 months old -- it was confirmed by four. The way his staff talks about him, it always makes my heart swell, too. Because he's a sweetheart and a goofball and a good kid, even if he's different. How old's your son? Mine's seven and he's made a lot of progress since he first started receiving services. :)

He's almost 11 it's his birthday in under two weeks

It's a funny one as it brought with it fear and dread but I wouldn't swap it for the world now

It's good you found out so early Robert was diagnosed till the age of seven
