The Vanishing Monk

Not updated in a while, but things pretty much the same, lights still going on and over, TV, turned on while we're out of the room. I'd suggest, tentatively, that your house has become uninhabitable and you are therefore technically homeless. The council will be obliged to rehouse you.

Can it get worse than piss-taking monks from another world, feral yobs, and the dealer and his clients across the road?

Is your mum OK? I hope so... *worried*

No not much worse, my mum's a bit shaken,(thanks for your concern ) she may not be in the best of health, but is a tough sod. The council admit there's a problem with the house, but say their hands are tied and can't afford to do anything about it. We have sugguested rehousing, but they are dragging their feet, it doesn't help that a mickey mouse trust have taken over, one hand doesn't know what the other ones doing! I would really like to leave the estate though, as it's a tad dangerous to walk around even in day light hours, a lady being raped last week,at the bottom of the avenue, another smashed in the face, for her bag, and armed raiders shot and killed a young lad at our local William Hills, two minutes from here, this estate makes the news for all the wrong reasons. As for our dealer friend across the road he has his own problems, two more dealers have moved into the area, and are after his " patch ".

If all else fails my sister has a matteress and a bedroom floor to offer, my mum is seriously onsidering it .

Yikes! I'd be out of there on the next passing breeze. I'm glad that Glasgow hasn't discovered guns yet (for the most part). They're still using knives.

Believe it or not, this is the better part of the estate, our last house, had a brothel next door, you could tell when one of the girls had a client, the music would go on !
