It's the end of the third week of classes, and I'm finally getting into the swing of school. Of course, the term is about 1/4 over now. I'm just hoping this momentum I've finally attained will continue into future quarters

So... how's Amber?

Katherine (who is maybe a month older than Amber) is very, very busy being 2.5 - lots of complaining when we do something for her that she had wanted to do herself. Right now, she's doing the jack-in-the-box bedtime routine (that is, popping up every five minutes after we put her to bed), and we don't really have a good solution except to keep putting her back until she gets tired of it.

I'm glad you're able to make going to school work even with your kids.

Sorry to take so long getting back to this... Amber is doing great! Bedtime and naps are hit or miss, but with Rick being gone all the time it's slightly difficult getting into a good schedule. She's talking like crazy now. Her latest thing is to pat her stomach and say "Mama, look. I very very hungry!" Doesn't matter how much she's had to eat, mind you. She's just Very Very Hungry. Or she's being "Very Very Careful". Or things are "Very Very Hot". Adverbs are interesting when kids are only 2.

Have fun getting Katherine to cooperate! It's quite an adventure, and it only gets better from here...
