Well, I think we've settled on a name. Finally. And it's different from any of the names we were looking at before. Go figure.

Cameron James PetersCameron was a name Rick and I decided we could agree on. I think it's kinda funny, because it means "Crooked Nose". Apparently, though, it's an honorable highlands name, or something along those lines. ( Read more... )

I officially hit the 3rd trimester mark tomorrow. Had an OB appointment last week, and all is well. I've only gained 8lbs, but the baby is actually measuring on the big side. It's a good thing. My ultrasound pics can be seen at my Yahoo! photo site, in the "Ultrasound" album. It was a 3D ultrasound, so there's actually some depth to the pictures and it's easier to tell what you're looking at than in a standard ultrasound image.

So yesterday was my birthday, and I took the day off. I had an ultrasound in the morning, which went quite well. We found out that we are, indeed, having a boy. This is pretty good news, since it evens things out quite nicely. We have more or less settled on Robert Ryan for a name, although DH is tossing around Ryan Robert.
