Following the announcement that Wizards of the Coast would be coming out with Dark Sun for 4th edition D&D, I've been on a bit of a Dark Sun kick. so I was going back and reading DS stuff, which I never did in great depth in the 2nd edition days ( Read more... )

There was an Exalted hack along similar lines, though I can't find it any more.

Come to think of it: the game would work just fine as a play-by-email game, or play-by-wiki or play-by-blog or something. Especially play-by-blog. You'd need some sort of impartial card simulator thingy, but beyond that it would work fine and not have to cut into our regular gaming schedule.
