The Forks of the Ohio River are Indeed Quite Bloody

While at GaspCon, I did actually succeed in running one of my three games. (As they say on Discworld, "One out of three ain't bad," right?). I wasn't terribly surprised to see that it was Bloody Forks of the Ohio.

Full retelling )

actual play, gaspcon, gming, rpgs, bloody forks of the ohio, gasp, roleplaying, he has a wig for his wig and a brain for, one out of three isn't bad

It sounds like the game was a lot of fun, and the addition of magic and super-science added a fun wrinkle (although I enjoyed the purely mundane-history version we did). Adding Dalibard to the scenario would have been cool, but maybe I say that because I like throwing in obscure Enlightenment scientists where I can.

The superscience and native magic changed things less than you would think they would.
