I've had a few people ask me recently how I write, and resisting the urge to reply 'with crayons, a claw hammer and the screams of virgins', I actually had to think about this one - because as the years progress, I've changed the way I work on an almost yearly basis. I still have my Psion 3a, though it no longer 'talks' to any other of my hardware. They were truly wondrous for their day.

Thanks for this, Tony. It was you who got me thinking about smaller PCs, and I wouldnt be without my netbook now. I've also been a moleskine fan for a loooong time... all other notebooks are rubbish ;)

My friend Caroline got me onto DropBox. Very handy.

I love my Moleskines. Still make notes on my phone with a full-size geek-tooth keyboard, usually as reminders to email home. But most of my ideas and notes end up in the elastic band book.

Do you fill in the "this book belongs to" at the front of your Moleskines and offer a reward? I increase my reward as I fill it, more random scribblings = more reward if found and returned.
