So recently on my Twitter page, I spoke about blocking out comics, and in particular how I work. And, having spent a large amount of today scripting a chunk of pages that I spent much of last week getting ready, I thought I'd take the tweets that I put up a few days ago, re jig them about a little and put down in words just how I write a comic,

Of course, the question is 'Where do you get your ideas?' but what it actually is is: 'How do you get ideas that sell and make you money?'

As I beleive Scott Adams said on this very topic: 'Ideas just happen, its a thing your brain does all by itself. If you are not having ideas, chances are you are dead.'

The trick is knowing how to turn those ideas into paydirt by interpreting and presenting them in the correct way. Often it is also being able to sell that idea to a publisher...
