I know exactly how you feel and that recently happened to me when I saw my ex after 7 months. What was even harder was the fact that he had recently been sick, but all the memories, all those feelings flooded back to me and luckily I had chatted with a good friend from KSC before going to meet him so I wasn't left entirely as a puddle on a floor.

Ever since then he comes up in my mind but for the most part work and my new boy friend have me distracted from letting anything get in my head to worry about. I had missed him but allowing him back in my life is going to be much harder. Doesn't mean that in the past I haven't interacted with someone from my past and was hit wham-bam-thank you ma'am. In one instance I ended up kissing someone that i didn't expect to :X

I think it really depends on the person :)

well I've only had this type of feeling for two people so far. One actually, I haven't seen more than when I first met them (which was over the course of a couple days) so I don't know how I'll feel when I next see them, but I get the feeling that this latter person will have the same impact on me. I'm trying to figure out what the significance of these people to me is then.

For me I had a romantic relationship with both guys and then didn't see them for awhile and for the first one I wasn't seeing anyone at the time I remet them so that's why we ended up making out ::shivers:: With the latest one it hit hard but I actually figure out that I didn't want anything to do with him which had the weight lift off my shoulders.

I haven't had romantic relationships, hell, I barely have romantic relationships in general...well, I've stopped dating at this point, but thats for other reasons.

Definitely familiar with the feeling. It's not always romantic though.
