Well! Wasn't that a strange happening? Little jiggly blobs of...well, whatever they were... Such an odd little invasion! Is this what things are going to be like around here from now on? I guess nothing will be boring, then~

Oh! How could I have forgotten--your last name is Valentine too, isn't it?

Valentine's Day is a celebration of love and caring! People tell each other how much they care about one another and give them little gifts, like jewelry or candies or little paper hearts.

It's quaint, I know--it sounds so much better when Cupid explains it himself. He's really quite a nice fellow.

It's rather odd than that it is named Valentine yet this 'Cupid' is in charge of it.

I know. I asked Cupid about that because it seemed curious to me, too! He said that he's the God of Love, so he deals with the holiday. The actual day was named after someone else.

I suppose it's no different than Halloween being called Halloween while I'm the one in charge?
