I couldn't play it in the dark. The sun went down, the ghost came out of the wall, and I closed the game for the night. If I'd been playing on a tablet instead a desktop I would have thrown the computer across the room a couple of times.
That game is freaking CREEPY. When the caption says *eerie singing* they mean it!
I usually think ND games have fairly high replay value, but I don't think I'll be replaying this one now that I've finished it. ;)
Yeah, this is definitely a daytime game. The first time a shadow moved it scared the crap out of me, not to mention actually seeing the ghost. XD I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK UPSTAIRS. BADNESS IS UPSTAIRS.
lmao I flounced from the Ghost/Japan one a little while ago because somehow I got recruited into making bento boxes????? And I just. Nancy Drew. You have a real job in Japan teaching English, how did this happen to you?
It made me laugh how many times I exploded a building in that first one... whatever it was called, the original one. I like problem solve-y games but I prefer Portal style to Nancy Drew -- I wish they were more logical thinking and less, like, "solve this giant Sudoku".

BWAH!! Did you at least get to the creepy person in the mirror?

*snorts* Well in the Ghost game I'm playing right now, I keep getting sliced up by a scythe. XD
I wish I could play Portal, but I'm guessing it would not be good with the whole motion sickness thing.
I did! And a ghost in my room, or something? I forget exactly. One of the things really slowing me down is that I need to fix the crossed-wire puzzle and I CANNOT BE FUCKED omgggggg. Even once I conquer bento I still have to do that, ugh.
Yeahhh Portal's first-person camera might be disorienting, because you're like... bouncing and... flipping and stuff. It's too bad, the game is a lot of fun. The Walking Dead game is super great too, I wish games like that -- the character choice, problem-solve-y not shoot-y type -- were more in style.
