I finally saw Iron Man 3.
Not without popping 2 xanax during it. :D (It was TOO LOUD and had TOO MUCH MOTION. Blerg. I really shouldn't see those types of movies in the theater, but I wanted to see it already, damn it! There is no way in hell I'm seeing Star Trek in the theater though. That will have to wait until I can rent it off Amazon.)
I scooted out towards the end - the last thing I saw was when Tony went into the operation and they removed the shrapnel (why didn't they do that sooner?) Did anything happen after that? Was that when Pepper got the cheesy necklace that was in the promos? XD (LOL GIANT TACKY BUNNY.)
BUT PEPPER! PEPPER PEPPER! My love for Pepper went up even more in this movie! At the end when she's taking down an Iron Man suit and killing the bad guy, I seriously doubt Tony's ever been so turned on in his life. XD
I do love how they didn't run down gender lines in this movie. Yeah, Tony had some manpain over Pepper at one point, but Pepper had womanpain about him before. It was a bit more of a partnership vibe. (I got you. I got you first.) Tony's initial Mandarin throwdown was over Happy, not Pepper. And Pepper not only saved herself (albeit passively), but she destroyed the bad guy by herself (very actively). I understand that RDJ had a lot to do with Pepper's active role, and I salute him for it. (And am very amused that he appears to be the biggest Tony/Pepper shipper there is.)
The kid Tony palled around with was cute and funny. (Was there anything at the end about him?) IT SORT OF MAKES ME WANT THERE TO BE IRON BABIES. TONY WOULDN'T SCREW UP THE KID TOO MUCH, RIGHT?
So are there any good Tony/Pepper fics anyone can recommend? :D
