There is I think, a glibness to the term 'artistic temperament'. It's somewhat dismissive; a box to keep the ever-so-slightly off-kilter in. Art doesn't have to fit in that box, nor do artists.  But the fact is, contentment is not something easily found for some people - and not for want of trying by
