Trains and goosebumps
I'm riding on the train from edinbourgh to London. Yes, the is wireless on the train. Typing in the iphone is frustraiting so I won't write much. So far the castles have been my favorite part of the trip and seeing rosline chappel was interesting. Ever since I was little I've loved knights and castles and anything associated with them. uncertainties
I leave tomorrow morning for London, from there I go to scotland and then rome. After rome i travel to belgrade... between the 5th and the 18th of june there are 13 days for which I have absolutely no plan. I'm not sure how i feel about not having a plan, though I guess at this point I've painted myself into a corner and will just have to run with ( Read more... ) -
South Africa
I remember thinking when I first arrived that this could be anywhere, somewhere along the I-5 heading down to LA. There was nothing about the landscape from the airport into Johannasberg that absolutely screamed "Africa."

things i lost
This morning I had the most intense craving for waffles. Specifically Belgian waffles from Stacks in Burlingame with some kind of fruit and those home fry things that aren't quite as good as hash browns but are nice to have from time to time. dinner
Tonight I made dinner for my family, sort of a day late mothers day activity. I started with some skirt steak, three pieces. Originally I planned to do a dry rub. The game park
I was up at five am this morning, dressed by 5:30 and out the door on my way to the lodge where we were meeting for some coffee and tea. Around six am we met up with our field guide and loaded up into the jeep.
