Still no heat

Well, last night wasn't too bad. We had some electric blankets and portable space heaters. We still had the residual warmth from before the heater crapped out. I imagine today will get a lot colder. It's mid afternoon, and I'm sitting here wearing a flannel shirt, sweat pants, and a winter hat. Sadly, the repair guy called all over and can't get

Dude, what a drag. I am so sorry to hear that. I was sitting at work watching football yesterday and keep seeing updates for the Classic and I kept thinking, "God, I hope he's enjoying the hell out of himself". I even mntioned you to the guys I was watching the game with. And I thought I had a tough New Years.

I hope somebody comes through for you guys today (that or I would be happy to share some of this balmy mugginess we're getting in southwest Louisiana today if this world were, say, Oz, or something,and that type of idiocy were possible). And good luck with your folks. Mine are pretty stuborn, too. I know what a chore it can be sometimes just trying to do what need be done in those circumstances that it makes an already difficult situation that much harder,so best wishes all around, brother.

Yeah. Would have been cool to be there, (even though the Hawks lost) but circumstances beyond my control and all. Heat was fixed this afternoon. I did manage to convince my parents to stay with some friends of their from church last night. My mom just had surgery a few days ago, so I used that as my bludgeon during negotiations. ;) (it was only on her eyes, but she should still be comfortable during recovery)

Agreed. Glad to hear the heat's back. Just save the game for one you know they'll win and treat yourself to some good seats or something.
